Detox day Three

I detox normally a couple of times a year, but to be honest the last year, I have just consistently re-toxed at every given opportunity.
Like many small business’s in this country it has been a massive struggle over the last few months, and all too often the glass of wine(who am I kidding?) the bottle of wine after a really stressful day or the big bag of sweeties has been all too easy to use as a comfort blanket.

WELL NO MORE I TELL YA............... Actually that’s a lie too (I did start detox on Monday but had fallen off the food and Red wine wagon by 6:00pm) but Tuesday was a new day.

So now this is day three and as always this is the hardest day. My head is splitting from the lack of caffeine, and this is also the day when there is not really any particular food you want so you are just eating to function.
Good news is generally by day six, the headaches have passed, the food is scrummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy and you don’t want wine coffee, butter, or any of the other things that have you addicted.

So its a bowl of homemade muesli for breakky which I prepared when I got home last night, along with some nuts and a glass of fresh juice.

Lunch is a fresh fruit smoothie, (which I really love, with a big dollop of peanut butter)

And dinner will have to wait until I have a moment to think about it.

On a serious note, anyone who is looking to introduce a feel good factor into their body, or just increase their energy levels, this is a brilliant Detox, and though it is very prohibitive and it is quite long, 28 days, the results are amazing.

Officially day two of detox, but that depends on wheter I include day one, where I ate Indian food and drank Red wine...If I include that then this would be day three!!!!.....

Ok Officially day two of detox........ To begin a detox you should live alone for the first three days at least. Your body expels gasses, which, while they in themselves are totally natural the volume of sound with which they leave your body (very unexpectedly-thus giving you nowhere to hide) can be almost in-human.

So day Two begins with a glass of warm water............. It is delicious, all other verbs, nouns, and adjectives are pointless at this point as I am enjoying this glass of water so much words fail me..........................................

Hi there,

I am Bell (well I was born under a different name so for internet sake) I am Bell.

I am a self employed mum of Three kids and two Dogs who lives outside the big schmoke (the Dublin one) and writes a lot when all the other elements of my life are not clattering through doors or tearing each others hair out, or stealing each others breakfasts (dogs only)..

Fashion and I are not great friends but we do occasionally meet up and manage to carry off a look, I do have an odd passion for buying new Jammies on a Friday night while collecting copious amounts of white/red wine.....

So in short, I am a very slightly insane, harassed woman, with numerous OCD’s and a penchant for jammies and alcohol and not necessarily in that order.

I am Bell and its nice to meet you all.
